Disable Win2003 shutdown screen

Do you want to get rid of that nagging Win2003 shutdown screen? Here is the how:

  • Start - Run - gpedit.msc
  • Go to Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - System
  • Look for the entry "Display Shutdown Event Tracker". Double click on it.
  • Change the setting to "Disabled".
  • Log off and on and you're done.
